Go to the new Quickly's! quick!
There is a new Quickly’s in San Francisco! It’s on Irving and 22nd Ave. is replacing Double Rainbow. I got many different opinions on the new Quickly’s.
“Double rainbow had more flavors, and when I went there, the tapioca [at Quickly’s] was hard! Tapioca should be soft and gooey!” sophomore Randy Gee said.
Another Abraham Lincoln student said that they would prefer Quickly’s over Double Rainbow, because the drinks at Double Rainbow were not as good as other stores.
“I like Quickly’s better than Double rainbow, because the tapioca is more chewy and you get to choose small or big tapioca. But I like the store next doors strawberry milk tea better!” freshman Felice Tsai said.
I’m taking the guess that it depends on the worker that is working there for the quality of the drinks.
The Quickly’s on Irving is not that different from any ordinary Quickly’s they still have the same drinks and flavors. But the workers, of course are different.
“I prefer Quickly’s because you get to choose if you want tapioca balls or jelly stuff in your drink,” sophomore Michelle Tam said. She also says that the Irving Quickly’s is prettier than all the other Quickly’s because they have big screen TVs and prettier, nicer chairs.
A lot of people have different opinions. I don’t really know myself, because I’ve never been to Double Rainbow. I’ve seen it before and went in but never bought anything from there. I thought it was pretty cool though, because there was a special deal where you bought a certain amount of drinks you get one free. There are already a lot of Quickly’s and not many Double Rainbows. If you’ve never been to the Quickly’s on Irving, but have been to any other Quickly’s, there is really no difference. The drinks are pretty much the same and they have the same flavors. The next time you are around Irving, go ahead and check out the new Quickly’s there!
