Don't bother with Mike Jones
Mike Jones! Who? Mike Jones! Who? Of all the songs by rapper Mike Jones, “My 64” was probably the worst ones I have ever heard.
Instantly after I heard the beat of the song, a headache rushed to me. Unlike other beats in rap music this is especially annoying, to the extent where it made me cringe.
His phrase “Mike Jones, Who?” is repeated so much to the extent where its becoming a cliché. The phrase was catchy in the beginning when it had first appeared. However, like a needy family member staying over your house for longer than expected, its welcome quickly diminished.
Of course, this phrase brought Jones to fame. His music, phrase, and name into the mouths of every MTV-friendly teenager. Since this phrase gave Jones instant fame, he puts this phrase into all his songs and hopes to make an instant platinum-dubbed album.
“My 64,” an overrated song by an overrated artist was considerably horrid, in my opinion. Mike Jones has released some moderately good songs once upon a time but unfortunately, his winning streak is over.
